Privacy policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

This policy explains what TradeVision does with personal data when you browse the site, create an account, run an analysis, pay for a subscription, or contact us. The operator of TradeVision can be reached through the chat on this site.

Who is responsible

TradeVision is the service described on this website. For privacy requests, use the chat on this site. The site is hosted on Google Firebase App Hosting.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve the request.

Data we collect

Account data: email address, display name, Firebase user id, and the password hash managed by Firebase Authentication. We do not see your password in plain text.

Billing data: a Stripe customer id and subscription status. Card numbers and full payment details are collected by Stripe, not stored by TradeVision.

Product data: the prompt and timeframe you submit, the analysis we generate, and the risk settings you save (account balance, risk per trade, stop-loss distance, and take-profit distance). Chart screenshots are transmitted to generate the analysis. We store the analysis and the prompt in your history. We do not store the screenshot in that history.

Contact data: the name, email address, and message you send through the chat or the contact form, plus the page you sent it from. Those messages are delivered to the TradeVision team.

Technical data: standard server logs, and data collected by Google Tag Manager if it runs in your browser. When you open the economic calendar, the embedded Investing.com frame may receive your IP address and browser data under Investing.com’s own policy.

Why we use it

We use this data to create and secure your account, run chart analyses, keep your history and settings, process subscriptions, answer messages, prevent abuse, and understand how the site is used.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your charts or prompts to train a TradeVision model.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (account, analyses, subscription); legitimate interests (security, support, basic service diagnostics); legal obligations (billing records); and consent where a non-essential analytics tag requires it.

Who receives it

Google Firebase provides authentication, the database, and hosting. Stripe processes payments. Anthropic processes the chart image, prompt, timeframe, and risk settings you submit in order to generate the analysis. Google Tag Manager may load measurement tags. Investing.com supplies the calendar widget.

Contact messages are sent to the TradeVision team. A delivery service may relay that email.

These providers process data only to perform their service. Some of them store or process data outside your country. Where the GDPR requires it, transfers rely on the provider’s contractual safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Account, history, and settings stay until you delete the account or ask us to erase them, unless we must keep a record for billing, fraud prevention, or a legal claim.

Stripe retains payment records under its own retention rules. Contact messages remain in the inbox for as long as needed to handle the request and any follow-up. Server logs are kept for a limited operational period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict your data, object to certain uses, or receive a portable copy of data you provided. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Use the chat on this site and include the address used on your account. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you. You can cancel a subscription from the account page, which opens the Stripe billing portal.

Cookies and similar technologies

Firebase Authentication uses browser storage to keep you signed in. Google Tag Manager is loaded on the site and may set cookies or similar identifiers for measurement, depending on the tags configured in that container.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking storage used by authentication will sign you out and may prevent the app from working.

Security and children

Access to the database is restricted by Firebase security rules, billing is handled by Stripe, and analysis requests are sent over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

TradeVision is not directed at anyone under 18. Do not create an account or send us a chart if you are under 18.

Changes

We will update this page when the product’s data practices change. The date at the top is the latest revision. Continued use of the service after an update means you have the current policy available to you here.
